The tool installs with no effort on the system and it also brings to the table another utility called ClickRepairRT; it is basically a simplified version of the original application.

No menus are available, just a few knobs that can be used to obtain a better result than the input file (uncompressed, mono or stereo, in 16, 24, or 32-bit AIFF or “WAVE” format), which can be added by simply dragging and dropping it in the main window.

As far as the controls are concerned, the tool includes a few profiles that can be used for automatic processing of the file.

The controls that can be modified refer to the levels for cleaning up clicks and crackles, enabling pitch protection and choosing the method to be used. The changes for each of these can be saved as a separate profile.

Working with ClickRepair is not too difficult and the cleaning process is carried out automatically. On the other hand, some knowledge about the audio files is required in order to obtain the best results.
