The application gets installed before you realize, but you first need to make sure that your computer is fitted with .NET Framework. Once launched, you can take a look over the set of features, which are structured into three tabs. This provides an intuitive view of functions and comfortable navigation.

Needless to say that the only type of barcode to generate with this application is EAN-8. However, several of its variations can be used, depending on what you need. The barcode tab is where you define the value to bundle inside the barcode. There’s also a preview section which provides visual support for tweaks.

Apart from the mandatory barcode input, you can add other details such as text. It usually resides at the top of the barcode, whereas the barcode characters are at the bottom. You can toggle the visibility and set the position of these elements. Other customization options include the possibility to use a custom font and attributes in the design to give it a personal look and feel. Color of text and lines can be changed as well.

If you’re confused on what EAN-8 variation to use, it’s a good idea to pay a visit to the barcode info tab. Here you find detailed descriptions of each, as well as what types of characters can be used.

Last but not least there’s the label settings tab. Once your barcode is created, it’s time to define how it looks on a printable sheet of paper, and how many iterations to include. Various details can be tweaked here, such as positioning, label style, margins, background image, and more. Results can be printed on a sheet of paper, or exported under formats like BMP, JPG, PNG, TIFF, EMF, EPS, and PDF.

All things considered, we can state that EAN-8 barcode generator 2 is sure to help you design, configure, and print out custom EAN-8 barcode labels for your products. Various customization options are at your disposal, as well as necessary documentation to know all there is about EAN-8 and how it’s used.
