It can be configured to restart a service, launch an application, execute a script or follow a more complex sequence of tasks. This allows it to handle operational maintenance and troubleshooting tasks remotely and without assistance, minimizing the response time to operational failures.

The integrated scenario builder enables administrators to generate custom monitoring schemes to automatically take care of connectivity problems and other similar issues. In other words, they can create programmable scenarios and configure a proper response.

Network Olympus scans the network to check device availability, generates a visual network map for users to see the infrastructure up-close and gathers relevant statistical data about on-going traffic and the network performance. Not only that it can be used for the surveillance of network devices, but it can also handle routine responses to common network failures, saving the administrator time and effort.
