The application allows you to quickly manage and control each project and its tasks in an intuitive environment by viewing the start and the finish dates of the terminal and summary elements of a project.

When you run the program for the first time, you can select the project status and the expense type you are interested in. Then, you can view basic information about the baseline duration and the actual cost of the project.

Simply add as many tasks as you want, then change the view option to Gantt, Network, WBS or Task Usage. Irrespective of which view you choose to analyze the project with, ProjectLibre displays all the requested information in an organized manner.

For instance, the Gantt chart illustrates a project schedule and allows you to view the relationships between all the activities. These charts can be used to show the current schedule status using percent-complete shadings so unless the previous task is not complete, the next tasks or actions will not start.

The Network option allows you to view each task organized in its own table and displays information such as duration, start and finish date. You can also view their dependencies and relations with other tables.

You have the possibility to add new resources as well, by specifying details such as name, cost rate, availability and tasks.

Because it is ideal for desktop project management, ProjectLibre allows you to open existing Microsoft or Primavera files. However, after specifying details such as project members, available resources and the tasks that need to be performed, you can easily print the project to PDF format or generate a detailed report that can be easily shared with your co-workers and colleagues.

Although it does not contain advanced and tangled options, ProjectLibre is flexible to everybody’s needs when it comes to plan, schedule and manage various projects.
