The interface of the program is simple and intuitive. You can get started by selecting a volume to search in. Check out the label, type, start and size of each device or disk.

Once the scanning process is completed, you can sort files by their real folder structure, extensions, as well as by date of creation, modification or access.

So, you can preview files, use a search function, define and use a file mask (e.g. empty folders, deleted or existing files), reopen drive files, and more.

When you select the files you want to recover, you can proceed to the next step to specify the output destination and configure advanced recovery options (e.g. recover the real folder structure or all content of a selected folder while ignoring the specified file mask, do not recover hidden and system attributes).

The program quickly finishes a task in the fast scan mode but takes a very long time to do so in case of the detailed search (depending on the size of the selected volume). It takes up a low-to-moderate amount of system resources.

However, R-Undelete was not able to preview some files during our tests (the progress bar froze when the window popped up). Also, the demo version has some harsh limitations, as you can see in the Product Description below.

Otherwise, R-Undelete is a very good tool for recovering lost or deleted files from your system, and we strongly recommend it to all users.
