Unfortunately, the program cannot open other applications or perform advanced tasks when the alert begins, which means a form of text alert is its maximum potential.

The application’s best feature is its ability to link up to an email address and mobile phone to alert users with either an email, a call or both. This takes Vinade Reminder past conventional desktop alert systems and gives it a use away from the computer.

There are more features it could have had though and without options such as volume control or greater scheduling ability, it feels quite basic at times.
